Student Startup

 The University of Aleksandër Moisiu in Durrës, in collaboration with the Faculty of Information Technology (FTI) and the Faculty of Business (FB), organized the much-anticipated Student Startup event this March 2025. The event took place in the Conference Hall, bringing together students, experts, and business leaders to foster innovation and entrepreneurship.

Key Speakers:


Prof. Dr. Shkëlqim Fortuzi, Rector of Universiteti Aleksandër Moisiu, welcomed the participants and highlighted the importance of innovation in today's fast-evolving market.

Prof. Assoc. Anjeza Pasku, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, emphasized the role of technology in shaping the future of business.

Prof. Assoc. Llambi Prendi, Dean of the Faculty of Business, shared insights into the increasing need for entrepreneurs to integrate modern business practices.

The event also celebrated the top startups that stood out for their innovative ideas:

  1. First Place: AgroSense – A team consisting of Ester Çeço, Vanina Velçani, Ardian Peca, and Danjel Kalari.
  2. Second Place: HEG’S Tech – Represented by Esmeraldo Shtaro.
  3. Third Place: EmpStat – Led by Soni Tahiri.


These talented teams impressed the panel of judges with their creative and feasible solutions for modern business challenges. 

This event successfully highlighted the importance of fostering student innovation, providing them with a valuable platform to present their projects and gain recognition from both academia and industry leaders.
