A Closer Look at the TBEAI Kick-Off Meeting and Its Vision for the Western Balkans.
We’re pleased to share a closer look at the opening meeting of TBEAI (Transforming Business Education with Artificial Intelligence), an Erasmus+ CBHE initiative dedicated to bringing modern, AI-powered learning approaches into universities across the Western Balkans.
The event was hosted by Aleksandër Moisiu University of Durrës (UAMD) who leads the project’s coordination and welcomed all partners to Durrës for two productive days of collaboration.
The Kick-Off marked the official start of a long-term effort to strengthen business education with digital competencies, innovative teaching methods, and future-ready learning ecosystems.

A Promising Start for a Forward-Thinking Collaboration
The meeting gathered representatives from all project partners, offering a space to align on goals, expectations, and what this collaboration aims to achieve. The tone throughout the sessions reflected the project’s purpose: openness, innovation, and a shared commitment to bringing meaningful change to higher education.
Being part of this initiative as an Associated Partner aligns naturally with Metanow’s mission to build efficient digital ecosystems and connect technology with real-world use. Our involvement gives us the opportunity to support universities as they introduce AI technologies and smarter workflows into their academic environments.

The Consortium Working Together
The TBEAI consortium includes institutions from Slovenia, Portugal, Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, and Kosovo, each contributing their expertise to create a strong foundation for this project.
Alongside the universities, Metanow joins as the industry partner offering practical experience in technology, digital transformation, and process clarity.
This mix of academic and industry perspectives creates a balanced team equipped to design solutions that are both innovative and usable.
